Having a successful business today is an arduous task that requires applying the different skills that the person who leads the company must possess. In this sense, in the mountains an objective is pursued with the same passion as in a business, to reach the top and place a flag that leaves your mark.

To achieve that goal, you must start with meticulous planning of every detail before you even begin the journey. There are many important variations to be measured because if logistics is done poorly, it will make escalation a failure. The climate, the time of the expedition, the number of people who will go on it, the amount of food that will be needed even in the event of any delay in ascension, ropes, medications, tents and more, should be calculated because the weight it is also an important item.

You can't stand in front of your Everest without an action plan, but you should also not forget that in some cases improvisation is required. You cannot go with less equipment than necessary, but neither with more. The success of reaching the top depends heavily on planning and logistics, as well as being aware that something can go wrong and that you have to know how to make the right decisions at the right time.

On the contrary, you also have to know the things that cannot be done and keep them in mind. This is how I consider that climbing mountains is very similar to business, since everything you should apply in terms of logistics, organization and risk prevention applies equally in business to make them successful. Luck does not exist, only probabilities exist and go hand in hand with logistics.
